Following the successful start-up of the Macedonian Plant in Ohrid we are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our Logistics Team.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, duties will include supporting the Management Team with the day to day operation of the warehouse, responsible for a group of warehouse operators and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets. Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely.
Ideally, candidates will have Transport and Customs Forwarding University Degree or Technical Secondary School Degree and have at least 2-3 year of proven experience as a Team Leader with experience of supervising and motivating a team
- In addition, candidates should also ideally, have the following:
- Valid forklift truck and motor vehicle licence
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
- Relevant Warehouse experience, ideally within automotive or manufacturing environments, including the loading and unloading of goods
- Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines
- Skills in detailed record keeping and organising the storage of materials in a logical manner
- Awareness of Health and Safety regulations
- Good IT skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse systems
- Experience in the use of computerised inventory control systems
- Ability to work in 3 shifts and attention to details
- Fluent verbal, written Macedonian and English
- Ability to follow and comply with instructions given by the superiors
- Very good communication skills, negotiation skills, problem solving abilities, organising skills
