Power Electronics (male/female)
The Kessler group which has its base in Germany has established a company in Macedonia (near to Skopje) for research & development and production of electrical motors, generators and electrical components. Due to the increased activities, the company is looking for employees for the R&D centar , who will be involved in the development of the projects of the company.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Work on strategic technology direction of the company, proposing innovative technology and solutions
- Development of custom solutions in machine tool industry
- Smart products design for Industry 4.0
Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant subject (Electronics/Science/Engineering or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge in power electronics, control system theory and automation
- Strong knowledge in PCB design for various applications (circuit diagram, layout design, documentation)
- Knowledge of control algorithms, analogue and microcontroller control hardware
- Knowledge of design software tools: Altium Designer, EPLAN etc.
- Environmental testing and EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) standards
- Simulations and verification tests
- Experience with hardware assembly, prototyping and SMT soldering
- Experience in writing design documents and test procedures
- Ability to work with embedded hardware/firmware engineers to design and debug systems
- Methodical approach to problem solving
- Capable of driving ideas/projects forward
- Able to work effectively to meet agreed timescales having considered and planned the project activities
- Ability to combine mechanical and electrical aspects
- Technical writing skills
- Good language skills in English or German
