Production Team Leader (m/f)

Our new Baumer production plant is being built in Skopje, Macedonia. For the ramp-up and future profitable growth of this brand new plant we are looking for:

• Overall responsibility for production line/area
• Ensure quality first approach and manufacturing of the products according to required standards
• Ensure timely and effective manufacturing and on time delivery
• Production capacity planning
• Managing orders under the given constraints of material, available capacity (man power/manufacturing equipment) and processing time
• Responsibility for preparations and checks before and after manufacturing (equipment, documentation, periodical process checks etc.)
• Mapping of deviations in all phases of production and suggest solutions
• Optimize production processes in terms of quality and productivity and implement continuous process improvements
• Accurately managing basic data (work orders produced, periodical process checks, KPI records)
• Monitor the activities of production staff to ensure compliance with set health/safety regulations and procedures
• Liaise with the Industrial engineering and Quality department to make sure products meet set production specifications
• Liaise with Industrial engineering department in new production lines and products launching
• Process documentation revision and training of the production staff for the same
• Responsibility for hiring, staffing and training of production staff to ensure an efficient workforce
• Technical support of production activities by training, root cause analyses and troubleshooting
• Implement the Lean Six Sigma philosophy along the entire value stream

• Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical) or related fields
• Minimum 5 years in production in an international company
• Excellent command of spoken and written English language
• Solid experience in Lean management and Six Sigma
• Knowledge in the areas of electronics production
• Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques, raw materials, quality systems and standards, health and safety standards and compliance, process improvement techniques, business, finance and management principles, solid computer skills
