Human Resources Assistant 

 
Outcomes to succeed in this role:

  • Support to the HR Manager to ensure an effective and efficient HR service is provided to the business, compliant with local policies and legislative requirements. 
  • To provide administrative support in all HR areas.
  • To assist the effective delivery of HR functions and implementation of HR procedures: employment procedure, leave of absence procedures, and similar.

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Assisting HR Manager in office/HR tasks 
  • Responsible for Employee orientation
  • Responsible for maintaining contracts and performing office operational tasks
  • Policy development and documentation
  • Responsible for maintaining Employee Benefits (Absences, Vacations, Sick Days)
  • Responsible for Registration and Deregistration of Employees
  • Update Information in CakeHR System
  • Recording, archiving documents and conducting general administrative matters
  • Responsible for office supplies (back office & branches) 

The Ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Relevant University Degree 
  • Relevant experience of at least 2 years in a similar position
  • Excellent English – verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, self-motivated attitude with high energy
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and to influence at all levels
  • Attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills/time management
  • Flexible and pro-active approach, with the drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
