Chief Accountant

 

• Reports directly to finance responsible and interfaces directly with other senior management team members
• Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles in the country and company internal procedures
• Issues timely and complete financial statements under local standards/ IFRS
• Input data into the system and investigates any inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
• Assures timely VAT submission and compliance with all regulations and laws related to other taxes and duties
• Researches and analyzes accounting matters
• Prepares work papers and supporting schedules for the monthly financial review
• Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company cash flow. Ensures integrity of all financial information
• Perform monthly closing process
• Develops and implements various accounting procedures
• Using the existing resources exclusively in the best interests of the company
• Compliance with internal regulations and working procedures related to his post
• Adopts permanent  conduct  in order to promote company image
• Involvement in resolving any critical situations  that may affect the company and
• Fulfillment of any other requirements coming from the superiors
• Responsible for the financial statement, preparation according to the legal requirements and IFRS standards
• Training and supporting of the accounting team 
• Taking part in the IC matching and booking
• Taking care of the fixed asset register 
• Communication with tax authorities and auditors , complexly involved during the Audit

• Graduated Economist
• Certified accountant
• More than 1 year related experience
• Knowledge of QAD - preferable
