We use our scientific know-how to create innovative products that play a crucial part in reducing harmful emissions and improving air quality, helping our customers meet legislative requirements globally.
We are now seeking a strong and proactive Automation Engineer to join our Automation team in Skopje in order to maintain and upgrade site’s automation systems, to analyse equipment reliability, generate ideas for solving chronical issues related with equipment on lines, Washcoat and PGM.
Key responsibilities:
- To maintain the Automation and Electrical equipment / Infrastructure on site and act as technical resource for the site
- To keep all automation systems software and hardware up to date
- To ensure support to the site for all the automation systems
- To improve all manufacturing KPI
- To support capex projects whenever needed
- To ensure safe operations of the automation systems
- To identify safety gaps and improve safety of the automation systems
- To Assist in the training of new Automation Staff
- To Develop Automation Software Applications that includes SCADA
- To Installing of upgrades and firmware
- To assist with continuous improvement/Update of Plant
- To control the work of contractors working within the projects
- To provide support to the incident investigation team
- To ensure that all changes initiated or coordinated by his side to be properly documented
- To ensure that all CCC are properly fulfilled and properly closed with appropriate action
- Ensure that proper PPMs are developed
- Contact with Maintenance, Automation, LEAN team, Local management, Production staff, Local and worldwide suppliers and support and other JM sites.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- University degree engineering or IT
- At least 1 years of experience in automation field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Safety competencies and behavior
- Works independently
- Knowledge of PLC.
Working hours: shift work schedule 24/7.
