Magna Mirrors South-East Europe, a division of Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting - leading supplier of innovative closure systems, modules and exterior and interior mirror systems, is opening the following position for the new Magna Mirrors factory located in Ohrid/Struga region:
SQA - Supplier Quality Assurance
Key Responsibilities:
- Works with suppliers on APQP and with cross-functional teams to meet customer deadlines on new program launches;
- Audits suppliers and identifies opportunities for improvements with the supply-base;
- Follows up on suppliers compliance with ISO/IATF-16949 requirements;
- Approves suppliers PPAP’s/PPF and Run-at-Rates;
- Evaluates suppliers quality issues utilizing appropriate problem-solving techniques;
- Tracks suppliers performance with supplier development activity;
- Ensures timely and effective closure of suppliers CRs (Corrective Action Requests);
- Full understanding of Magna Supply Chain Manual;
- Ensures suppliers IMDS submissions are completed in a timely manner;
- Contributes to continual improvement and cost reduction activities, both in general and specifically related to individual duties;
- Reports out and actively participate in addressing internal quality issues (monitor scrap on a monthly basis and help team to identify and address top quality issues);
- Monitor and report out weekly /monthly Key Performance Indicators and initiate appropriate action if gaps are identified;
- Maintenance of master data for new and serial projects in ERP system;
- Participation in project teams, technical changes teams;
- Incoming inspection of direct material.
Key Qualifications / Requirements:
- Technical/business economics education (bachelor’s degree or equivalent);
- Minimum 2 years related experience in an automotive environment;
- Computer proficiency in business applications (MS Office, Excel, Word,);
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and plant personnel;
- Completed Training: IATF-16949, 2nd party VDA 6.3 Auditor, MSA Gauge Control, SPC, APQP/MLA, PPAP/PPF, 8D/PPS (Ishikawa, 5W,…);
- Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement tools;
- Strong organizational skills, self-directed, strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines;
- Very good time management skills;
- Capable of working with minimal supervision;
- Team player;
- Readiness for traveling.
