Job Description

APS (Agile Pro Solution) headquartered in the USA with a local office in Skopje is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Here at APS, we believe that once you have the right skills and motivation to be successful you will be a great fit for the team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented account payable specialist to control and monitor our expenses.

You will be processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations.

USA working hours (EST)

Accounts Payable Specialist

Duties:

The AP Specialist will report directly to the Director of Operations & Finance and work closely and collaboratively with the AR Specialist, Project Accounting Coordinator, and operational employees to ensure that all financial transactions are accurate,and vendor invoices are processed and paid timely.

Job Description:

  • Verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received from all sources.
  • Assist with the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports including daily credit card reports.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Record expenses accurately by analyzing invoice/expense reports and coding it to appropriate GL accounts.
  • Contact other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve common problems.
  • Detailed research and analysis of account balances, accurately maintains balances and reports.
  • Prepare account reconciliations; analyze and resolve expense variances.
  • Track Refunds.
  • Follow internal accounting procedures and policies to ensure financial security is maintained.

  • Professionalism & Strong Work Ethics
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must possess the ability to work with all levels of organization.

Experience:

  • Must be computer proficient with experience with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is an asset
