APS (Agile Pro Solution) headquartered in the USA with a local office in Skopje is looking for an Material Procurement Specialist. Here at APS, we believe that once you have the right skills and motivation to be successful you will be a great fit for the team.

A Procurement Specialist, or Purchasing Specialist, acquires a company’s various supplies. Your main duties include locating key suppliers, negotiating the company’s purchasing agreements and making sure their materials and products meet the company’s specifications.

Material Procurement Specialist

Duties:

The Material Procurement Specialist will report directly to the Director of Operations & Finance. You will work closely with the Senior Material Procurement Specialist, Field Coordinators, Project Managers, Stakeholders, and other operational employees to ensure that all materials are ordered and managed in a timely and precise manner. 

Job Description:

  • Purchase goods and services that meet the quality and quantity expectations of the stakeholders/clients.
  • Review order acknowledgements and quotes for 100% accuracy.
  • Communicate any changes in scope, product, or schedule accurately.
  • Provide product data & samples when requested.
  • Effectively communicate delays to all parties involved.
  • Review production schedules and related information, confer with project management to determine material requirements, track deliveries, and identify overdue materials.
  • Compile and maintain records, such as material inventory and status and location of materials.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors and stay up to date with industry trends and compare available materials with those trends to ensure best pricing and quality of materials.

  • Highly organized with an attention to detail.
  • Critical Thinking and problem solving
  • Professionalism & Strong Work Ethics
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must possess the ability to work with all levels of organization.

Skills & Experience:

  • Must be computer proficient with experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office.
  • 1-3 years of construction material procurement experience preferred.
