Engineer Project Coordination Automation (f/w/d)
at the the next possible start date
Job Description
- Coordination, support and connecting the projects that are processed in Automation Systems along the value chain (= special machines, handling systems and testing machines)
- Acceptance of requests for special machine construction (capacity, offers, orders, assignments…)
- Project planning in case of an order (e.g. functional specifications, creation of schedules, creation of calculations, etc.)
- Implementation of project coordination in the area of automation systems.
- Responsible for monitoring the deadlines, cost monitoring and creation of status reports
- Acceptance of systems by the supplier and in-house (internally)
- Activation of escalation processes in the case of an order disruptions
- Execution of Lessons Learned appointments in the sense of CIP
- Transfer of systems to our production sites
- Contact person for the project team and suppliers regarding all technical and comprehensive issues
- Support for procurement of machine components in the systems (e.g. power supply systems, welding systems, etc.)
- Sales support in technical issues, concept development when preparing offers and calculations
- Coordination of commissioned suppliers (e.g. in term of commissioning, delivery, etc.)
- Organization and support of the after sales service
Qualifications
- Knowledge, as typically acquired during at least three years of technical University Studies (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Design Engineering, or similar) and extended through at least three years of experience in a comparable position.
- This function requires special knowledge in the field of project management in a Mechanical Engineering Environment.
- Very good knowledge of order processing in special machine construction
- Very good knowledge of project planning with regard to the project management triangle (costs, time, quality)
- Good knowledge of supplier management
- Good knowledge of IT applications (e.g. MS Office, MS Project, ERP system e.g. SAP, ...)
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
- Stable, solid personality with strong leadership skills able to quickly establish credibility internally and externally
- Strong communication skills both internally and externally utilizing networking and exchanging best practices
- Possesses intercultural sensitivity and understanding, with the ability to work collaboratively an international business environment
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results and follow through on commitments.
