Job Description
  • Management and further development of the area of responsibility as well as ensuring systematic problem solving and optimization of all tasks (employees, machine, method, environment, material) as well as joint project planning in related areas for the successful completion of machines and systems in the field of automation systems.
  • Management of employees including all individual tasks (performance management, appraisal interviews, personnel development, deployment and resource planning, etc.)
  • Preparation of projects for handover to the subordinate functions
  • Development of new technologies for the further growth of the AS area
  • Training/instruction on the applicable safety regulations
  • Provide support for risk assessments (FMEA and Machinery Directive)
  • Organization and/or support of after sales service
  • Participation in the creation of relevant machine documentation
  • Ensuring the continuous improvement of work processes and organization (especially employees and processes)
  • Initiation of necessary escalation measures
  • Processing of suggestions for improvement
  • Proactive, trusting cooperation with internal interfaces (e.g. quality, validation, development, works)

Qualifications
  • Secondary school degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance and expanded through relevant advanced training (master craftsman, technician, specialist or comparable). The position requires at least 7 years of professional experience in a comparable area of responsibility and in-depth specialist knowledge.
  • Very good leadership skills (e.g. personnel assessment, personnel deployment, moderation techniques, conflict management, etc.)
  • Well-founded specialist knowledge in the specification and implementation of electro-technical systems
  • Well-founded specialist knowledge in the application and development of PLC and HMI programming, primarily Siemens
  • Expert knowledge and many years of experience in relation to automation, electronics
  • Good knowledge of robot programming (e.g. Epson, Yaskawa) and servo drive technology (e.g. Bosch-Rexroth, Festo)
  • Very good knowledge of the relevant standards (e.g. Machinery Directive, ISO EN 12100, ISO EN 13849, currently valid version)
  • Good knowledge in the validation/qualification of machines for medical and pharmaceutical products
  • Very good knowledge/experience in managing (software) projects
  • Basic knowledge of the specification and implementation of optical test systems
  • Good IT user skills (especially MS Office)
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Stable, solid personality with strong leadership skills able to quickly establish credibility internally and externally
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally utilizing networking and exchanging best practices
  • Possesses intercultural sensitivity and understanding, with the ability to work collaboratively an international business environment
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results and follow through on commitments.
  • Team player, Proactive, Well motivated
  • Willingness to international business travel within the first month of the employment 
  • Employment will be with our company in the Republic of North Macedonia
