Quality Supervisor

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervisory responsibility for quality and test personnel including support during recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and work schedules.
• Support in the development and maintaining of the Integrated Management System.
• Support the HSE protocols and ensure they are in place and followed.
• Responsible for reporting of the Quality Metrics, monitoring of their performance and sharing them with the Operative Team, maintaining the highest possible standard.
• Supports during the monitoring of internal/external customer satisfaction, recommends areas of improvement e.g. APQP, Quality, Cost, Delivery etc. and leads the efforts to resolve quality and process variability problems.
• Supports and monitors supplier performance, recommends areas of improvement e.g. Quality, Cost, Delivery etc. and leads the efforts to resolve quality and process variability problems, thus enabling the Quality/Purchasing team to ensure continuous Supplier development and high level of performance.
• Develop and implement effective processes to identify issues, assign resources, and drive permanent corrective actions of all product/process issues, including those that occur internally, at customer locations, and in the field.
• Support the Quality Manager in improving profitability of organization by designing/processing for quality and minimizing the past practice of inspecting for quality.
• Support the Quality Manager in developing and maintaining a Warranty reduction process including the analysis of field returns as well as database, for the rapid response to issue, and minimization of financial impact to organization. Drive lessons learned back into Product and Manufacturing Engineering.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant Degree in a relevant scientific field
• 5 years minimum
