To support our Plant in Skopje, we are looking for a Production Supervisor that embodies our values.
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all production activities. This individual will be working in our Industrial Solutions Group that produces sub-assemblies and component kitting.
Our operations are configured in a work cell system utilizing semi-automatic equipment ensuring a repetitive process is followed and high quality is delivered. The production supervisor is responsible for all processes and procedures to be followed along while ensuring all production associates operate in a safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage production personnel to ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Support day-to-day operations on the production floor. This includes troubleshooting assembly issues such as component fit, leak test or other potential quality problems.
- Acting as the first line of troubleshooting for processes or product issues.
- Mentoring and developing direct reports, and supporting quality teams in reaching company goals.
- Recruit and provide information needed to train and educate all team members regarding Standard Operating Procedures, Quality System Regulations, work rules and safety guidelines.
- Develop associates into a team through coaching and mentoring.
- Set daily objectives and communicate them to employees.
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
- Hold associates accountable for producing quality parts by ensuring processes are followed.
- Compile and analyze production records.
- Maintain on time delivery to the customer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the same or similar position.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Good MS Office skills, particularly in MS Excel.
- Experience in automotive supply chain preferred.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts preferred.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities as well as provide solutions.
- Ability to read and comprehend prints.
- Possess a technical and hands-on approach to solving issues.
- Self-starter and team player.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work in a multi-culture work place.
- Willingness to perform duties outside the predefined scope.
