The Product Supplier Manager (German speaking) is responsible for supplier outreach and onboarding to Scientist.com’s Product Hub.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Supplier and lead management:
- Identify contacts, obtain contact details, and send appropriate communication to establish meetings with Scientist.com personnel.
- Use LinkedIn and other channels to collect and establish contacts.
- Follow up with suppliers on distribution agreement, product data submission, accounting details, and various other operational details as needed.
- Track and report responses, agreements reviewed, agreements signed, distribution terms, product types, and data submitted on a weekly basis.
- Work closely with the Product hub and development team to manage inbound information.
- Acclimate with our business, language, and priorities; providing thoughtful suggestions to improve process, workflow and systems.
- Be an excellent collaborator, communicator, and team player to fully integrate with the company
Candidate Profile and Experience:
- A recent graduate (B.S. or B.A.) in a scientific field is preferred (some science background is required).
- Great written and spoken German.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Must have excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, report on activity, and integrate well with colleagues across other functions.
- Strong computer and database program skills
- Willingness to contribute thoughtfully
- Eagerness to learn, improve, and grow
