In order to implement and maintain the group H&S standards on local level and related to further development of our H&S team we are offering the position of
HEALTH & SAFETY ADVISOR
Job Purpose (Key Objectives):
Supports implementation and coordination of all the H&S and environmental activities of Wienerberger on local level in line with the group-wide strategy and in compliance with the local legislative requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for resolving legal H&S requirements and discovery of nonconformities
- Resolving legal environment requirements and discovery of nonconformities
- Active participation and implementation of Wienerberger H&S standard and related guidelines
- Collaboration with external H&S consultants;
- Collaboration with external environmental consultants;
- Represents the company in audits and inspections by supervisory bodies. Liaises with the respective competent persons and authorities related to H&S regulations and enviromental standards.
- Support to plant management in H&S and environment topics
- Active participation on H&S and environment related meetings initiatives in region South East Europe
- Supports the achievement of all health and safety targets on local level
- Ensures health and safety communication and awareness within the organization on local level
- Implements of waste management programs at production sites / plants
- Continuous improvement of plant H&S awareness and H&S performance (AFR, ASR, H&S tools, initiatives, etc.)
- Undertakes audits and workplace/area inspections to identify where health and safety management practices should be improved
- Control and continuous improvement of the health and safety qualification of the staff (internal and external trainings)
- Ensure implementation of health and safety standard and related documentation according to the requirements
- Ensures, that all legal obligations in area of environment are fulfilled
- Is familiar with all company policies and procedures and national standards
- Complies with all policies and procedures
- Is able to observe and detect safe and unsafe behaviour and set measures needed (feedback, stop button)
- Ensures all accidents, injuries or near misses are being reported according to local and group-wide standards
- Implements policies, procedures and regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Acts as H&S promotor according to Wienerberger values.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- University degree in technical studies
- Experienced in H&S and environment field – 3+ years
- Official valid H&S accreditation
- Excellent command of English language
- Advanced Computer literacy (MS Office)
