Process engineer

Key responsibilities

• Daily control of the production process by stages
• Responsible for timely provision of tested quality raw material and sufficient stock availability
• Responsible for and controls the quality of the finished product
• Offers measures and activities for more rational use of production facilities
• Responsible for the full procedure for obtaining a new concession and verifying the status
• Checks daily laboratory tests according to EN norms
• Provide data & present reports to the management team on all clay research & clay quality related matters
• Manage process & cost improvement through the elimination or minimisation of non-value added waste in all operational activities
• Have a good sound knowledge of the plant and its workings to enable you to make informed decisions regarding quality and process improvements
• Responsible for optimising the drying & firing process with regards to energy, capacity etc ensuring consistency with regards to shape, colour, finish, texture & durability of our products.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• University degree in technical studies (Geology, Mining or Technology studies will be considered advantage)
• Excellent command of English language
• Planning and organizing
• Proactivity
• Result orientation
• Problem solving
• Other: clear B category driving license.
