For our Mechatronics division in Shtip North Macedonia, we are looking for the following position:


PROGRAM MANAGER
 

Responsibilities:

  • Manages timing, quality, and financial results of transferring programs and new product introductions in the plant, while making sure that APQP and IATF 16949:2016 requirements are fulfilled.
  • Responsible for supporting the preparation and business case review of quotations for customers.
  • Responsible for supporting quotes targeting profitable and/or strategic business opportunities, performing contract reviews when awarded, and lessons learned analyses for lost business opportunities.
  • Primary point of communication interface to the customer for the respective program(s).
  • Possesses the interpersonal skills to build relationships with key customer contacts responsible for the decision making process
  • Owns program management through launch, post–production performance and lessons learned utilizing the Magna MML product delivery process:
  1. Preparation and communication of program status to the management and escalation of critical issues
  2. Coordinating / monitoring project documentation, timelines, technical performance, budget including expense/tooling/capital, production, quality deliverables, corrective action initiatives, conducting risk analyses, and implementing required counter actions
  3. Full program management ownership of program-related functional activities: purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing / launch management, and achieve program budgets & financial targets
  4. Lead change management system through an understanding of specs, costs & timing, and ensure due dates are met
  5. Manage series production phase including claims management, change management & continuous improvement and VA/VE activities
  6. Support and adhere to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (IATF 16949)
  7. Maintain working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner
  • Coordinates all activities related to transfer of programs among plants such as customer demands, equipment capacity calculations, transfer of equipment, rump down and rump up among transferring plants, ensuring availability of materials and resources in the plant, Run & Rate production, and customer audits related to process release after the transfer.
  • Coordinating / monitoring project documentation, timelines, technical performance, budget including expense/tooling/capital, production, quality deliverables, corrective action initiatives, leading risk analyses and implementation of required counter measures.
  • Coordinates cross-functional teams related to process design and development (layout, equipment, tooling) Process flow chart, PFMEA, characteristics matrix, Control plan, process instructions, significant production run, MSA, SPC, packaging evaluation and PPAP approvals.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction during new launches and supporting the pursuit of continual improvement.
  • Ensuring proper escalation flow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience within the automotive industry
  • Project management certification preferred
  • Knowledge in IATF 16949:2016 standard
  • Knowledge in AIAG core quality tools
  • Knowledge in Lean principles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent English
  • Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office
  • Demonstrated superior leadership abilities in managing multiple programs to meet goals (quality, cost and delivery of programs) through launch in coordination with internal and external contacts
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills to prioritize, coordinate projects, manage conflicting needs based on large sales volume and/or strategic importance, and deal with many issues at one time
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others through support, training, etc. towards departmental goals
  • Possess the interpersonal skills to build relationships with key customer contacts responsible for the decision-making process. Actively listens and identifies concerns. Understands customer's business and speaks their language. Develops credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
