EMAPTA seeks an experienced, Content Writer that can produce content that meets the needs of the requestor, participate in the brainstorming and idea generation processes, and conduct research about mortgage industry guidelines and trends to develop or support writing.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?
- Should have exceptional writing and research skills.
- Ability to adapt to the varying needs of internal clients, external partners, and teammates.
- Should be punctual, motivated, detail oriented.
- Aware of always approaching deadlines.
Your responsibilities:
- Creating and editing original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets client/company needs and deadlines.
- Speaking with internal and external parties to learn about their content needs.
- Conducting research to formulate ideas or support writing.
- Learning about the target audience for copy.
- Assisting in other duties related to the creative or research processes as assigned to create cohesive, accurate content.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Communications, or related field.
- Demonstrated writing and editing skills in a full-time professional capacity (2/4 years of work experience is preferred).
- Experience writing copy within a specific industry is a plus. If that industry is related to mortgages or real estate, even better.
- Strong communication, research, and typing skills.
- Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, attention to detail, and motivation to succeed.
- Ability to understand the nuances associated with each specific project and the target audience.
- Receptiveness to feedback.
- Willingness and ability to meet deadlines.
