Following the successful approval of the investment in Macedonia, Ohrid we are looking for a Global Supply Chain Risk Manager/ Lead Expert to join our Global Supply Chain Planning team.
The new colleague will be functionally reporting to the Head of Global Supply Chain Planning:
And it will be the initial contact person for risk management related topics (e.g. customer requests). You will conduct and improve the Supply Chain Risk Management process together with our team. Our Supply Chain Risk Management approach includes proactive and reactive risk management.
As part of our proactive risk management, you will define and categorize risk evaluation criteria for Purchasing and Supply Chain. You will support the creation of cross-functional risk strategies as well as define and implement action plans for different risk scenarios. You will develop specific geographical/ geopolitical risk scenarios and run simulations. As the result of proactive risk management, we will create and roll out our unified Global Supply Chain Risk Management strategy together.
Having a look at reactive risk management, you will run our Supply Chain Risk Management report on a regular basis and evaluate the current risk status. In case of a global event, you will use this report to identify the impact on our capability to deliver our products to the customers.
Both, proactive and reactive risk management requires processes, tools and high quality data input.
You will be part of the team, which creates and improves global, regional and local risk management processes for Purchasing and Supply Chain. To support our processes, we need state-of-the-art tools. You will help to improve the existing tools and to develop new ones. You will be the key user for digital solutions to present and visualize global risks (e.g. for Sphera). You will evaluate the quality of required data sets and help to improve them.
The position will be located at our KOSTAL plant in Ohrid – Macedonia within the plant’s Logistics and Supply Chain department, where it will be disciplinary reporting.
Depending on engagement target on the main focus activities above as a primary global role, the our new colleague will also be working together with the plant’s Logistics and Supply Chain team.
Ideally, candidates will have a relevant University Degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration.
In addition, candidates should also ideally, have the following:
- Experience of 3 years in Supply Chain Risk Management or a comparable role within general risk management, supply chain management or purchasing
- Good knowledge about supply chain end-to-end processes and interdependencies between supply chain key figures
- Experienced in working in cross-functional, international projects, ideally in a (sub)project leader role
- Experienced in relevant modules of SAP R3 or SAP S/4HANA and in SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Analytics Cloud or other ERP systems
- Experienced in relevant risk management tools, e.g. Sphera or Resilinc
- Automotive supplier or OEM background would be preferred
- Willingness to travel to Germany and other KOSTAL locations
- To be fluent in English is mandatory; other language skills are an advantage (e.g. German)
- Good & proactive communication skills and flexibility
