Foreman (m/f)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, organizing supply, delivery and personnel
- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to workforce and subcontractors on site
- Producing schedules and monitoring attendance of workforce, delegating general and daily responsibilities
- Recruiting, training, managing, supervising and mentoring employees and subcontractors
- Using adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures
- Developing and managing costs and planned production rates on site
- Implementing quality standards on site
- Resolving conflicts or miscommunications timely
- Regularly reporting project status to site management
Profile:
- Proven experience as construction foreman
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
- High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (civil engineering)
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and report effectively, problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's licence – active driver;
- Proactive, motivated, teamwork skills, independent, dedicated, and accurate way of working, social and intercultural skills
- Quality and cost awareness
- Understanding of engineering and construction
