QUOTING AND PRICE ANALYST
The Quotations Analyst provides effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing excellent in-depth knowledge of company products, pricing, as well as team members within the organization. The Quotations Analyst undertakes special projects and other duties as assigned. Establish cost and list price matrices to deliver consistent and timely customer quotations. Develop firm relationships to increase communication and productivity, evaluate online quoting data for new product ideas.
Position responsibilities and duties:
- Developing complex price quotations by performing analysis of cost information, competitive pricing and profitability;
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records on pricing and quotes, including rationale for pricing decisions and discounts;
- Providing guidance to sales and product management and assuring pricing guidelines and standards are adhered to, in all quotes submitted to the customer;
- Developing relationships with selected clients and prospects by accurate needs identification and solution positioning, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service being performed;
- Designing and developing relational database for improving analysis efficiency and reporting;
- Cleaning, validating and transforming data to charts, graphs and tables used for understanding and decisionmaking purposes by senior management;
- Analyzing data and proposing solutions.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, with experience in sales or/and strong technical background is an advantage;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and advanced knowledge of Excel, knowledge of Business Object is an advantage;
- Analytical and computing skills to extract data from the various systems and transform the data into meaningful reports for consumption at various levels of the organization;
- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills, and ability to multi-task and handle projects independently in a fast-paced environment;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and to build effective business relationships;
- Personal skills and competences: Accurate, Flexible, Honest, independent, Organized, Responsible, Written and verbal communication, Time management (organization);
- Technical skills and competences: Lotus, ETBF, Quoting Assistant, Knowledge transfer, Commercial awareness.
