WEEKEND TRUCK DISPATCHER (m/f)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Weekend Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics services during weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule trucking routes and deliveries for weekend operations.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide updates and support throughout their routes.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and communicate with management regarding operational challenges.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using dispatch software and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of trucking regulations and safety standards is a plus.
