Position: Middle Office Analyst


Reports to:
Middle Office Manager in Luxemburg
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Middle Office Analyst to join the global team. The successful candidate will provide critical support in trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Trade Capture and Verification:
    - Verify trade details, ensure accurate capture, and confirm trades with the front office and clients.
Confirmation and Settlement:
 - Coordinate trade confirmations, manage settlement processes, and resolve discrepancies.

Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trading activity, P&L, and risk exposure.

Compliance and Risk Management:
 - Ensure adherence to internal policies and risk management guidelines.
 

Process Improvement:
 
- Identify and implement efficiency enhancements, streamlining middle office operations.

Collaboration:
 -Work closely with Front Office, Back Office, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, and Compliance teams.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Preferred professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM).
  • Experience with trade capture and confirmation systems.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in Middle Office Analyst or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of commodities markets and understanding of derivatives, equities, equity-related securities, and FX, ideally in global and emerging markets products and trade lifecycles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; VBA skills preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Preferable system knowledge – FTTrade/Quor, Coda.
  • Language fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable risk and control awareness and ability to apply this to the operating environment.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills who fosters team spirit globally.
