Business Financial Analyst
to support financial forecasting and
strategic business planning for SMEs.

About the Client
Responsibilities:
Client Interaction and Reporting
● Attend client meetings, taking detailed notes on business planning and financial trends.
● Follow up with clients via email for additional financial or planning information as required.
● Schedule monthly client meetings, acting as a project manager to ensure all monthly
engagement milestones are met.
Financial Forecasting and Modeling
● Prepare and update financial models for clients, including profit and loss statements, cash flow,
and balance sheets, using tools such as LivePlan and custom spreadsheets in Excel and Google
Sheets (training to be provided).
● Develop strategic business plans for clients to align with financial goals and KPIs.
Monthly Close and Variance Analysis
● Coordinate with the accounting department to monitor the monthly financial close process.
● Perform variance analysis, comparing actual monthly performance against forecasts or budgets
● Prepare insights on variances and trends for review with the Director of Forecasting, and
present findings in client meetings.
Exciting Growth Opportunities
● Making independent adjustments to forecasts with minimal supervision.
● Take on a leadership role in client performance review meetings.
● Lead strategic planning sessions with clients to align forecasting with objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience in financial forecasting and strategic business planning.
- Proficiency in financial modeling software.
- Strong English communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
