Junior Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our accounting team as a junior accountant or accountant at our Skopje office. We have a proven track record of successfully training and onboarding new team members.
**Ideal Candidate:** The ideal candidate is fluent in written and spoken English and has at least two years of experience in accounting. In this role, you will be part of our Skopje-based team, supporting the Amplify ROI accounting team with key accounting processes and day-to-day support across various accounts.
Job Description / Your Responsibilities:
- Verify various documentation, including invoices, bills, checks, loans, payroll, and fixed assets, for appropriate accounting treatment.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly bank and payroll reconciliations.
- Support the monthly and quarterly closure process, which includes reviewing invoices, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and calculating accruals.
- Complete other ad hoc tasks as management requests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a drive to meet expectations.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Extensive experience with MS Office products, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online, is a plus.
