Vacant position: IFRS Reporting and Accounting Supervisor

Number of Vacant Position: 1 (one)

Job Summary

• The IFRS Reporting and Accounting Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), overseeing financial reporting, and maintaining accurate accounting records. This role involves preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, ensuring internal controls, and supporting management in financial decision-making.

 

Key responsibilities:

1. IFRS Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements and Group Reporting packages in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards,
• Ensure compliance with IFRS updates and implement necessary changes in financial reporting,
• Coordinates with external auditors for timely completion of audits.

2. General Accounting & Month-End Close

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process,
• Participate to ensure the accuracy of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports,
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and eliminations,
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and accounting records.

3. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and IFRS guidelines,
• Develop and enhance internal accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy,
• Identify and mitigate financial risks by maintaining proper controls,
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and policies.

4. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Assist in tax reporting and compliance with local and international tax regulations,
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting for tax authorities.

5. Financial Analysis & Management Reporting

• Provide financial insights and reports to management for decision-making,
• Support financial planning and performance evaluation activities.

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus),
• CPA, ACCA, Authorized Certified Accountant or equivalent certification preferred,
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles,
• English proficiency is a must,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel,
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy,
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills,
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.​

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting and IFRS financial reporting,
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar, Navision is preferred).
