SAP BASIS CONSULTANT
Location: Remote
About the role:
- As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for end-to-end customer engagement and service delivery for SAP Cloud customers, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding, service quality, system performance, and issue resolution.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and support SAP Cloud environments, focusing on SAP S/4HANA and Private Cloud Edition
- Oversee customer onboarding, service delivery, and operational support
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and upgrades
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to infrastructure, networking, and cloud services
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous service improvement
- Handle change management, escalation handling, and issue resolution
Key requirements:
- ✔ SAP Basis expertise
- ✔ Cloud experience (SAP Cloud, S/4HANA, HEC)
- ✔ Strong communication skills in a customer-facing role
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with S/4H Cloud migrations and upgrades
- Knowledge of ITIL, Lean, and Project Management fundamentals
- Engineering degree with 4+ years of SAP technical consulting experience
Technical Skills
- Expertise in SAP Basis, IT Service Management, and SAP Applications
- Experience with SAP release upgrades, cloud infrastructure, and system updates
- Knowledge of networking, interfaces, and cloud environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly assess and resolve technical issues
Soft Skills
- Excellent customer engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making in high-pressure situations
- Experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
