The team
As a Full Stack Tester in the payments department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications across the entire technology stack. You’ll be responsible for testing UI, API, database, security, and performance, among other aspects, to ensure all components of the software function correctly together.
You will advocate for continuous investments in software quality while ensuring prompt features delivery to the advantage of our customers.
- Conducting various types of testing such as unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing to ensure that all components of the software function correctly together.
- Working closely with developers to understand the architecture of the application, identify potential issues early in the development process, and ensure that bugs are fixed promptly.
- Being proficient in writing automated tests using tools and frameworks like PHPUnit, Codeception, OpenAPI, Playwright and Javascript/Typescript to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
- Conducting performance testing to ensure that the application performs well under various load conditions, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
- Being aware of common security vulnerabilities and conducting security testing to ensure that the application is secure and protected against potential threats.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and working to integrate testing into the development process, ensuring that changes are tested and deployed smoothly.
- Prior experience with full stack testing.
- Mastering of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Be independent and a highly motivated problem solver.
- Eager to innovate, learn new things, and share ideas.
- Be proactive in finding and preventing bugs.
- Understanding of the software development life-cycle process.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
- 5+ years of experience in testing automation.
- 5+ years of experience with manual testing.
- Experience working in distributed teams.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
