Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic accounting & finance team. As a crucial part of our financial operations, the accountant will manage a range of accounting functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial transactions. The accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by overseeing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the company’s financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations and accounting standards, including the timely filing of all tax obligations.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis to support management in strategic decision-making and performance optimization.
- Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support the company’s growth objectives.
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial risk assessments to support sustainable business operations.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, financial management, or a related role.
- Fluency in Albanian language is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments and at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
