We are seeking **Data Entry Clerk in Accounting** to join our team. This is an in office position.
Data Entry Clerk in Accounting
Key Responsibilities:
- 1.Entering Financial Transactions**: Input invoices (rate confirmations), and other financial data into accounting software or databases.
- 2.Collecting and Processing PODs and BOLs**:
- - Collect, verify, and record **Proof of Delivery (POD)** documents from drivers and clients.
- - Handle **Bill of Lading (BOL)** entries, ensuring accurate documentation of shipments and deliveries.
- 3.Assisting with Audits**: Helping with the preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
- 4.Generating Reports**: Creating weekly reports such as rate per mile report, drivers’ expenses report, etc.
- 5.Communication**: Coordinating with other departments, and drivers in order to collect the data
- 6.Adhering to Deadlines**: Ensuring timely entry of financial data to meet accounting deadlines.
- 7.Compliance**: Ensure all data, including PODs, BOLs, and invoices, are entered according to company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in data entry, preferably in an accounting or logistics setting is a plus (but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) is a plus.
- Fluent in English
Shifts Available:
- Multiple shifts are available, and we will discuss scheduling during the interview.
Compensation:
- Pay will be discussed based on experience.
