IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN/SPECIALIST (m/f/d)
Tasks:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues and follow proper escalation route
- Install, configure and maintain computer systems
- Assist with the setup of new devices, workstations and networks
- Provide on call support via phone or email, or in person
- Maintain accurate records of user requests, problem resolutions and IT assets
- Monitor system performance and perform regular system maintenance
- Train end users on proper use of hardware and software
- Escalate complex issues to higher level IT support or vendors when necessary
Your Background:
- BSc in IT or equivalent experience covering main aspects
- Demonstrated experience in IT support or similar role
- Solid knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.)
- Understanding of troubleshooting principles for hardware, software and network issues
Skills:
- Ability to explain technical issue to non-technical users
- Solid problem solving skills around hardware and software related issues
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
