HR MANAGER
Position summary:
- As an HR Manager, your role is to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment. This position involves strategic planning, performance management, and employee relations, ensuring that HR practices align with organizational goals to support the company's overall success and growth. You will lead initiatives to enhance workplace culture, boost employee engagement, and drive continuous improvement in HR practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of an HR strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Establish and monitor a structured organizational framework
- Set and track measurable HR performance goals
- Collaborate closely with the Country Manager to drive HR initiatives
- Act as a subject matter expert in Macedonian labor law, supporting managers and employees to enhance operational efficiency
- Take initiative in workforce planning and play a pivotal role in budget planning processes
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency
- Contribute to the design and refinement of the organizational structure
- Provide recommendations for employee training and development programs to support growth and engagement
- Implement a comprehensive payroll process and establish an annual compensation review process based on market benchmarks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, or a related field
- 5-8 years of relevant HR experience within multinational organizations
- Proven ability to initiate and drive change across multi-level structures
- Strong business acumen with a keen interest in understanding business dynamics
- In-depth knowledge of Macedonian labor law
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite
- Native-level proficiency in Macedonian
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Performance- and results-driven mindset
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
