Dispatcher
Job Responsibilities include:
- Booking loads
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, address concerns, and update on schedules.
- Monitor truck locations and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any issues that arise using Samsara.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of shipments, driver activities, and other relevant documentation using our TMS
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck dispatcher or in a similar logistics role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a team in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards is a plus.
