Assistant Head of Production
Job role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Head of Production to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly in the medical cannabis industry. If you are passionate about ensuring product quality, optimizing production processes, and adhering to regulatory standards, we encourage you to apply.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Production to oversee all aspects of production operations.
- Implement production plans and targets in accordance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Supervise employees engaged in the manufacturing process and ensure compliance with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
- Monitor production runs, maintain consistent product quality, and troubleshoot any issues.
- Support site launches of new manufacturing products.
- Establish and maintain a production unit in full cGMP
- Ensure qualification and maintenance of premises and equipment in production department
- Active participation in quality management processes in cooperation with the QM-personnel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, preferably in medical cannabis.
- Specialization in pharmaceutical technology/Drug testing and control will have priority
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality control processes.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage production teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent English
