As an IT Technician at Ohrid airport, you will provide support and maintenance of a complex aviation infrastructure to effectively serve the entire TAV organization, including installing, maintaining, deploying, and troubleshooting systems, responding promptly to users’ problems, and resolving them efficiently.

SKILLS​:

  • Education: Level IV – VII, bachelor’s degree will be considered as an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist.
  • Proficiency of computer networks; cable installation and configuration.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Linux knowledge.
  • Familiarity with networking and equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, DNS/DHCP, VLANs). 
  • Knowledge of PBX (IP VOIP) technology would be a bonus. 

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong communication skills, customer focused and proactive.
  • Problem solving analytical and creative skills.
  • Service-oriented and a team player.
  • Optimistic approach during work with different clients and outsourcers in multitasking environment.​

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • First level support for all aviation systems that candidate will be trained for.
  • Installation and setup of all hardware devices & software application.
  • Maintaining computer systems, network, peripherals, aviation systems.
  • Support end users for different business application.
  • Network troubleshooting (Routing, Switching, Firewall, etc.)
  • Implementation of passive network.​​​
