Our new Baumer production plant is being built in Skopje, Macedonia. For the ramp-up and future profitable growth of this brand new plant we are looking for:

Industrial Engineer Production Support (m/f) Baumer Macedonia

The purpose of the position is to support the build-up of a manufacturing facility and the operational production processes

Your challenge:

• Pioneering work and participation in the build-up of a new plant & a new production facility
• Build-up and commissioning of production lines & workplaces
• Ensuring production capability for existing and new products
• Analysis and solution of electrical and mechanical faults in production
• Technical support of production as well as cooperation in cross-divisional projects
• Maintenance and repair work on production equipment
• Develop and implement measures to continuously increase productivity
• Creation and validation of test programs
• Updating and creating work plans & work instructions
• Manage the implementation of test specifications and parameters
• Programming and qualification of systems
• Collaboration in small projects to increase efficiency and troubleshooting
• Introduction of new product variants / functional samples & manufacturing of prototypes
• Definition and documentation of the process parameters
• Selection and definition of methods for process control
• Measurements and analyzes for time management
• Application of Baumer Operations System (MUDA, Lean – Six Sigma, topQ, etc)
• Close cooperation with IE at headquarters in Switzerland
• Embracing of potential and optimization regarding quality and efficiency

Qualifications and Expertise:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics
• Electrotechnical / Mechatronic / Mechanical basic education
• Experience in industrial electronics (sensors, interfaces, control technology)
• Strong analytical skills and methods
• Experiences from the areas of IE / Production Technology / maintenance and repair / Business Administration
• Sense of interdisciplinary dependencies
• Outstanding customer orientation and quality, process and cost thinking
• High methods and social skills
• Good command of spoken and written English language

Additional knowledge in:

• Knowledge of CIP, 5S, Lean - SixSigma as well as MTM, Refa, SQC etc.
• Project management experience
