Clean Air Division supplies one third of all catalysts fitted to cars around the world and is a leading producer of catalysts for trucks and buses too. We use our scientific know-how to create innovative products that play a crucial part in reducing harmful emissions and improving air quality, helping our customers meet legislative requirements globally.
We are now seeking a strong, analytical and pro-active Project Engineer to join our Projects team, to manage all projects assigned and meet position requirements. The Project Engineer has a key role in managing projects on time delivery (full project cycle).
Key responsibilities:
- Development and execution of projects throughout all stages
- Responsible for project scope, cost, schedule and quality
- Ensure that the projects are delivered in a safe, environmentally sound, cost-effective and timely manner.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, guidance’s and quality systems are effectively followed
- Responsible for leading the technical aspects of projects (mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation, etc.) – including development of technical solutions/system designs, technical specifications, approval of designs with respect to customer requirements etc.
- Liaise closely with a multifunction team of specialist engineers to ensure technical designs are functionally optimized and safe, conforming to all relevant standards
- Project team leadership, activity planning, prioritization and sequencing
- Ensuring clear communication with suppliers to meet customer delivery expectations
- Responsible for project risk management
- Accountable for Projects Visual Management (project schedules, status reports, story boards, presentations)
- Responsibility for the equipment procurement and the engagement of contractor companies
- Responsibility for the budget, implementation of the monthly / quarterly / annual projection
- Organization and traceability of the project documentation management process
- Provides researches and applies new innovative technologies and principles
Are you the ideal candidate?
- University degree in an engineering/ technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or similar)
- Experience within high volume manufacturing environment, with proven ability of managing projects from initiation to commissioning
- Proficient knowledge of Project management methodologies, tools and techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, strong customer focus skills
- Planning and organizing, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment
- Advanced use of MS Office (especially MS Project), Project management tools and CAD software’s
- Strives for continuous improvement; brings solutions and constantly seeks new and better ways to work.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and re-prioritise within operational and production constraints
- Professional level of English and Macedonian language proficiency
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 08:30h to 16:30h
