For our Headquarter in Nördlingen, Germany we are looking for a talented, experienced and initiative personality in the following position:
Strategic Purchaser for upholstery parts Commodity group
Responsibilities:
- Value analysis of components, cost-break-downs / Make-or-buy analysis
- Market Analysis / Benchmarking
- Strategic planning based on the purchasing strategy
- Independent development and implementation of measures to achieve commodity planning
- Prepare and conduct price and contract negotiations in coordination with the purchasing manager
- Supplier selection, development and implementation of measures at the key suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits
- Optimize procurement processes
- Contract preparation and drafting framework agreements in German and English
- Recommendation for material selection
- Maintaining existing and new tools
- Purchase supervision for new projects related to the product group
- Clear presentation of the purchasing volume per supplier
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering / industrial engineering or a comparable technical job that requires training
- Professional practice in purchasing, preferably in strategic purchasing
- Knowledge in quality management is considered as benefit
- Well-grounded in handling MS Office and ERP systems, preferably SAP R / 3
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to move to Germany
- Fluent German and English language in reading writing and speaking is a must!
