Vacancy: Material Planner
Location: Skopje
Clean Air Division supplies one third of all catalysts fitted to cars around the world and is a leading producer of catalysts for trucks and buses too. We use our scientific know-how to create innovative products that play a crucial part in reducing harmful emissions and improving air quality, helping our customers meet legislative requirements globally.
We are now seeking a strong, analytical and pro-active Material Planner to join our Planning team, that will be responsible for ordering and on time delivery of raw material and maintain stock levels within the given target and managing obsolescence risk.
Key responsibilities:
- Control the ordering process for raw materials
- Plan purchasing of raw materials in accordance to demand
- To be able to manage strong supplier’s relationships and to be able to negotiate with suppliers for lead times, delivery dates and delivery terms
- Create weekly Purchase Schedules for raw materials
- Escalate internally and externally (Regional Team) all potential delivery issues which may have impact on the efficiency of production and customer satisfaction
- To be aware of potential obsolescence risk for raw materials and finish goods and to manage stock levels accordingly
- To ensure timely delivery for raw materials in accordance to production needs
- To ensure weekly revision on safety stock for finish goods and substrates for both Ebern and JMMK warehouse
- To constantly work towards creating and maintaining planning standards, to search for improvement and drive the process towards automated planning and ordering system on their own initiative
- Committed to reducing stock levels by closely monitoring demand for finish goods, observing sales trends and analysing weekly consumption from raw material perspective
- Managing the process for APQP (raw materials side)
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Bachelor’s degree in economics / Business
- Minimum 1-year experience in Material Planning and Purchasing
- Experience in managing stock levels, negotiation with suppliers
- Skills and preferably knowledge in SAP planning applications
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point)
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Accuracy, analytical and organisational skills
Working hours: Administrative shift from Monday to Friday from 08:30h to 16:30h
