Vacancy: Supply Chain Compliance Officer
Location: Skopje, Macedonia
Clean Air Division supplies one third of all catalysts fitted to cars around the world and is a leading producer of catalysts for trucks and buses too. We use our scientific know-how to create innovative products that play a crucial part in reducing harmful emissions and improving air quality, helping our customers meet legislative requirements globally.
We are now seeking a strong, analytical and pro-active Supply Chain Compliance Officer to join our Logistics team. The successful candidate will use their technical, organisational and analytical skills to drive consistent and efficient work in a manufacturing environment. It needs to possess proven skills to solve problems, demonstrating quick response capability in accordance with changing business needs.
Key responsibilities
- To insure Johnson Matthey Macedonia complies with relevant legislations and regulatory bodies in all operations across the supply chain.
- To identify potential compliance risk across the supply chain, to highlight vulnerable processes and establish controls
- Identify legislation requirements and professional bodies and start relationship to help manage the processes
- Systems to be developed to ensure bullet proof gates stopping breach in regulations
- To insure NPI process is developed to highest level to insure compliance across the supply chain is a captured at the very beginning
- To insure risk assessment results are captured in the existing systems: SAP and GTS (Global Trade Solution), excel matrixes with data monitored and updated on regular bases
- To coordinate with EHS local and regional department, regional sustainability and compliance departments on strengthening the compliance processes
- To fully analyse SDS requirements and coordinate them across the supply chain
- To insure all raw materials are imported in compliance with REACH regulations
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Degree or professional qualification in Economics or Trade Law
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Microsoft office and knowledge of SAP
- Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills (ability to collaborate with a multi-department team)
- Ability to proactively identify issues and incorporate solutions in advance
- Extend knowledge in large area of regulations and create systems and procedures
- Organisation skills and high attention to details
- Research skills and excellent communication skills
- Ability to create standardised work, procedures and processes
Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30h till 16:30h
