Clean Air Division supplies one third of all catalysts fitted to cars around the world and is a leading producer of catalysts for trucks and buses too. We use our scientific know-how to create innovative products that play a crucial part in reducing harmful emissions and improving air quality, helping our customers meet legislative requirements globally.
We are now seeking a pro-active NPI Plant Engineer to join our NPI department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects for successful introducing of new products in Manufacturing, following customer deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- To coordinate all departments toward achieving NPI Plant Production Schedule for validations, pre-validations and re-validations in accordance with Customer requirements and Sales Team Requirements
- To actively participate and wherever need to initiate NPI Project meetings within Regional and JMMK team
- To manage the change for revalidation due to: Raw Material (RM), Substrate, Product Test Characteristics, Process Characteristics, Plant production line, Marking/Labelling
- To work in accordance with IATF 16949 and support JMMK Plant during Customer Audits and Certification Body audits
- To provide NPI awareness and knowledge at all levels in JMMK
- To comply with the EHS Management system requirements and to ensure that all activities are performed in safe and proactive approach in terms of EHS.
- Ensure high quality of reporting and communication of issues and improvements;
- Participate in a team environment that facilitates continuous improvement of current standards using lean tools; Participate in Continuous Improvement projects whenever possible;
- Update on systems that are used whenever is required
Are you the ideal candidate?
- University degree in Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 1-year work experience in chemical/technology industry
- Ability for leading projects
- Ability to communicate and convey key messages by phone, e-mail, face-to-face
- High attention to details
- Proactive, self-motivated individual with a good sense of priorities
- Ability to work to deadlines under pressure
- Multitasking
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Quality systems and standards
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Fluent in verbal and written Macedonian and English
Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30h-16:30h
