PROJECT CONTROLLER
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creation of project profitability calculations for customer quotations and/or investment decisions
- Reviews and analyzes customer quotes (CPQA’s) prepared by the Cost Estimating team.
- Insure compliance with minimum profitability levels already defined
- Cooperation in definition of lowest price limits
- Ensure all costs are accurate and included in the cost model.
- Continuous tracking of financial key data as part of commercial project tracking
- Communication potentially with regions to ensure worldwide coordination of quote and price tracking activities
- Creation of cost breakdowns and cost-/price bridges
- Participation at project specific cost workshops
- Support of special studies (Customer Profitability Analysis, Financial analysis for eCR, Post Completion Audits)
- Support in commercial evaluations for special projects
- Analyzes customer quotes by comparing to previous quotes and actual performance to ensure accuracy.
- Project financial performance (APQP Gate 1 – Gate 5)
- Support Program Leader with tracking project financial performance. On-going comparison and maintenance of project CPQA versus awarded CPQA
- Maintain project budget report
- Maintain project cash flow analysis including timing of capital and tooling spend
- Identify risks and exposures
- Provide the cross functional team with financial advice
- Change control financial review and approval
- Support financial controlling group with forecast information on projects
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years project controlling experience
- Business fluent English knowledge. German language would be considered an advantage.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong technical capabilities (experience with integrated systems (MFGPRO/SAP) and databases (Excel/Access).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to work well with various functions.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff.
