Chief Accountant
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports directly to finance responsible and interfaces directly with other senior management team members
- Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles in the country and company internal procedures
- Issues timely and complete financial statements under local standards/ IFRS
- Input data into the system and investigates any inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
- Assures timely VAT submission and compliance with all regulations and laws related to other taxes and duties
- Researches and analyzes accounting matters
- Prepares work papers and supporting schedules for the monthly financial review
- Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company cash flow. Ensures integrity of all financial information
- Perform monthly closing process
- Develops and implements various accounting procedures
- Using the existing resources exclusively in the best interests of the company
- Compliance with internal regulations and working procedures related to his post
- Adopts permanent conduct in order to promote company image
- Involvement in resolving any critical situations that may affect the company and
- Fulfillment of any other requirements coming from the superiors
- Responsible for the financial statement, preparation according to the legal requirements and IFRS standards
- Training and supporting of the accounting team
- Taking part in the IC matching and booking
- Taking care of the fixed asset register
- Communication with tax authorities and auditors , complexly involved during the Audit
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated Economist
- Certified accountant
- More than 1 year related experience
- Knowledge of QAD - preferable
