For our branch in Zhelino, we are looking for a talented, experienced and initiative personality in the following position:
Plant Manager
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- e responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
- Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
- Commit to plant safety procedures
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Address employees’ issues or grievances
- Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
- Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant
- Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance
- Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees and manage the onboarding process of new hires
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Bachelor / Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other job related field
- Familiar with production processes and various equipment
- Proven work experience as a Plant Manager or other Managerial experience
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
- You have a work experience, ideally in commercial vehicle industry or public transport industry
- Fluent in professional English (spoken and written)
- Flexible and have a structured way of working
- Available for frequent business trips
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
