Baumer production plant in Skopje Macedonia is starting with setting up of the R&D center which will be an extended arm of the R&D centers within the Baumer Group, working on various topics.
Team Lead PCB Design Baumer Macedonia & Baumer Group
We are looking for an experienced PCB Designer who, in addition to technical tasks, will also be responsible for managing the PCB Designers of the complete business unit. Furthermore the position includes the responsibility for the complete PCB development environment in the Group (Software, processes, etc.)
Key Qualifications/Responsibilities:

- Technical management of the PCB designers
- Responsible for the further development of the PCB development environment (structure, processes, training, etc.) from schematic entry to PCB layout up to database
- Development of PCBs according to the requirements in consultation with the relevant departments (R&D, Industrial Engineering)
- Preparation of technical documents and manufacturing data
- Selection of suitable technologies and the appropriate suppliers
- Project planning by creating and monitoring schedules for PCB development
- Maintenance of the component library and creation of components for use in schematics and layouts
- Solid understanding of printed board design (PCB) layout, process and IPC Standards
- Experience in Altium Designer PCB
- Experience in Zuken CR-5000 is an advantage
Additional Qualifications and Expertise:
- Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in R&D in PCB area
- Outstanding customer orientation and quality, process and cost thinking
- Previous experience in team coordination & management of remote teams
- Tactful and with social skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English language
