Robots Maintenance Technician

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics;
• Test performance of robotic assemblies, using instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, or bridges;
• Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, end-of-arm tools, or conveyors;
• Install new robotic systems;
• Modify computer-controlled robot movements;
• Document robotics test procedures and results;
• Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems;
• Maintain equipment to ensure machines produce quality parts;
• Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems and automated material handling systems or components;
• Assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement activities.
   

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical fields;
• 5 years of experience in Automated Systems and Controls (аdditional experience may be substituted for education and vice versa).
