Warehouse Technician

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in the coordination and storage of inventory by tracking flow of raw materials and finishes goods using forklift truck or physically lifting to move materials.
• Prepares and updates inventory records which accurately track materials in storage and in transit, and advises when quantities are low to ensure adequate stock.
• Performs quarterly physical inventories and routine spot checks, and reports the results.
• Operates a forklift truck to handle, load, stack, and receive raw materials and finished goods.
• Follows management direction to release goods to other plant locations for manufacturing or customers to meet time schedules.
• Ensures all materials received are accurate quantities and quality and enters the required information into the system.
• Interacts with customers and vendors pertaining to shipping and receiving information to ensure timely arrival of product.
• Determines daily shipments to customers using shipping schedule information.
• Stops the production line if established are serious deviations from the quality requirements;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Degree
• At least 1 year on a similar position
