Magna Mirrors South-East Europe, a division of Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting - leading supplier of innovative closure systems, modules and exterior and interior mirror systems, is opening the following position for the new Magna Mirrors factory located in Ohrid/Struga region:
Laboratory Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates on the creation of a laboratory plan and its implementation
- preparation of test objects for measurement, performing measurements and tests according to approved procedures
- Dimensional measurement 2D and 3D with gauges and 3D CMM
- Functional testing - climatic, electrical and mechanical testing
- COP and Requalifications - testing and reporting
- Creating of test reports
- Creating and maintaining of laboratory documentation
- Defines measuring devices, instruments and spare parts for laboratory measuring equipment
- Supporting measurement analysis for Wire Harness projects
- Metrology - Budget planning for calibrations
- Metrology - Management of measurement devices in company
- Metrology - Calibration planning
- Metrology - Provision of internal and external calibration
- Metrology - Evaluation of calibration records
- Metrology, MSA - evaluation of measurement devices according CSR
- MSA - planning, cooperation with QE, QM and production
- MSA - Evaluation of measured results
- Collaboration on external and internal audits for laboratory
- Reporting
- Complies with the principles of quality systems according to IATF 16949, compliance with the principles of safety and health at work according to ISO 45001, compliance with the principles of environmental protection according to ISO 14001.
- Observes the principles of safety at work and fire protection, observance of cleanliness and order in the workplace according to the rules of 5S, responsibility for entrusted work equipment and work with them so as not to damage them, observe the provisions of internal regulations.
Key Qualifications / Requirements
- Technical education - bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Mechanical Engineering education would be considered as an advantage)
- min. 3 years experience with measurement (3D CMM) in automotive manufacturing industry would be an advantage
- Metrology knowledge
- knowledge of MSA, SPC tolls, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Advanced user of MS Office and SAP
- Good English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good interpersonal and effective organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player
- Readiness for traveling
