Required qualifications

• University Degree in relevant field in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution;
• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction and maintenance of buildings, especially in HVAC systems such as Chillers, PACU's, Air Handlers, Exhaust Fans, and Plumbing systems such as Sanitary System, Potable Hot & Cold-Water System, Storm Water System, Fire Suppression System, and BMS System, Elevators, etc.;
• Should have good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD;
• Good spoken & written communication skills in Macedonian and English;
• Good communication and ability to explain construction related issues to Supervisor as well as the contractor and workers.
• Being a self-motivated problem solver and self-initiator with positive attitude to think and design out of the box;
• Ability to work in flexible working hours;
• Possess organizational skills and know planning methods;
• Resilient team player;

Job description

• Main responsibilities are; operations and maintenance of shopping mall mechanical equipment, tenants works coordination and supervision regarding mechanical works, manage technicians to fulfill responsibilities in a timely and cost efficient way
• Be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications;
• Maintain project safety awareness and enforce company safety policy;
• Monitor contractor and workers performance pertaining to schedule and conformance to plans and specifications;
• Review and respond to contractors and workers technical queries and coordinate with Technical Department;
• Prepare reports on each contractor;
• Review O&M manuals, monitor as built. Evaluate construction material testing results;
• Participate in final inspection and prepare punch lists. Review engineering design packages for constructability issues and lessons learned;
• Experience in evaluating, reviewing and approving proposed materials, Field documents, Monthly progress, etc.
• Have a basic knowledge of safe work practices, and recognize and take action when unsafe activities are taking place.
