KEY ATTRIBUTES
The Secondary School seeks a highly qualified and experienced educator with the ability to teach in the IB Diploma Programme (DP). The ideal candidate will have a strong affinity for the IB educational philosophy (interdisciplinary, inquiry-based approach), and will have had several years of relevant professional experience. The candidate will need to demonstrate high levels of involvement with students and colleagues, in the classroom and beyond. We consider student well-being to be a necessary precondition of learning. Helping mentor students through the challenges of their adolescent journey is a key aspect of the role. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency for working in teams, developing and implementing a strong mentorship approach to the needs of their every student.

It is expected that candidates for this position will be highly qualified educators. Candidates we would consider a good match include:
Education / Certification / Experience:
- Experience with the IB DP or similar international curricular frameworks
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of social sciences, humanities, language arts (sociology, geography, cultural studies, political science, history, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, ethnography) with a teaching designation/certification
- Master's Degree in the above mentioned fields (recommended but not required)
- Experience working in similar dynamic learning communities
